Why Do I Need an ACC ID Card?
Students can come to any campus Admissions & Records Office one business day after registering for classes to have a photo ID card issued. Students must present a valid state or federally issued photo ID, such as a Driver's License, to receive their permanent ACC Student ID card. More information ... ACC ID cards are required for students to use the Library,testing centers, recreation facilities,or other College services. All rights and privileges of the ID card are governed by ACC policies and procedures.
- A current ACC ID proves that you are a currently enrolled student or faculty/staff member and are therefore eligible to check out material and use the Computer Center.
- Over 700,000 people visit the ACC Libraries and over 330,000 items are checked
out each year. To provide this amount of service efficiently, IDs are a necessity.
The computerized checkout system relies on the barcode we put on your current ID.
