Library:

  • Copiers have up to a 400% enlargement feature.

Media Center:

  • Closed caption decoders that can display captioned broadcasts or videos are available on all TVs at all campuses. All media centers should have decoder boxes that can be attached if the equipment doesn't have it built in.

Computer Center:

  • The Computer Center has 1 computer workstation with Magic and Jaws for text enlargement and voice-synthesis.
  • The magnifier, narrator and on screen keyboard are functionalities built into Windows and are available at the Start button.

Library:

  • In addition to the workstations, enlargers and magnifiers, the Northridge Library also has:

    • 1 Scanner with OCR Capability
