The RGC Library staff is proud to serve ACC and join the long history of the Rio Grande Campus. Our enthusiastic and talented team members are Pam Spooner, Head Librarian; Red Wassenich and Jon Luckstead - Reference Librarians; Lisa Chronister, Jane Thomas, Ginny Agnew, Laura Evans, and Paul Sullivan - Adjunct Reference Librarians; Jon Sprecher, Senior Library Assistant; and Lee Alvord and Amy Simon-Cassetta, Library Assistants. Circulation assistants include Paige Alfonzo and Gregory Ludwig. Rosemary Burkes is the Library's Senior Administrative Assistant.

The Rio Grande Campus Library is located within ACC's most historic campus. Part of the RGC campus is over 100 years old, and it was the location of the old Austin High School until the late 1970's when ACC acquired the property from Austin Independent School District. The Library now occupies an area that includes the location of the old high school library (even including the old chalk board and Librarian's office). We're the only ACC Library with a view of the Texas State Capitol! In contrast to the historic ambience, the Library collection includes an enormous variety of electronic and media resources, in addition to our more traditional book and periodical resources, all of which support the ACC curriculum.
