Austin Community College Riverside Campus Library

Who we are

The staff at Riverside Campus Library is lead by head librarian Melinda Townsel. Donna Meadows and Jonathan Buckstead are Riverside’s two full time librarians. The full time circulation staff includes Kari Petryszyn, David Elliot and Melanie McGowan. The Library Administrative Assistant is Eddie Sanchez. In an effort to provide maximum support to students, the library employs additional library assistants and adjunct librarians.

Our facilities

The Riverside Campus Library is one of the larger libraries at Austin Community College. With around 27,000 items, the collection contains a wide range of subject materials from history to jewelry art. Materials supporting the Automotive Technology and Building Construction Technology programs are also housed at Riverside. A vast selection of over 234 journal and magazine titles are also available. Accessibility to numerous resources is not the only reason students choose to study at the Riverside library, the open spaces in the library and the picturesque views of the surrounding campus create an environment that makes studying enjoyable. The extended hours on the weekends allow the library to provide additional support to the students at Riverside.
