Library Services for Distance Learning Students
Our goal is to ensure that all students -- including those enrolled off campus at remote course locations or online -- have access to Library resources and services that will
assist them in completing their class assigments and other research information needs.

- Books
- Articles
- Articles and online research information
-- The ACC library subscribes to numerous online databases of
encyclopedias and full-text magazine, newspaper and journal articles.
Off-campus users have full access to ACC Library databases.
- Remote Access / ACCeID
- You will need your ACCeID to log into Library article databases from off-campus.
- Hint: Your ACC I.D. number can be found on your ACC ID card, on registration and payment statements, or online at
ACC Online Services.
- Help with your ACCeID is available with the ACC Help Desk 223-HELP or online at https://acceid.austincc.edu/idm/user/login.jsp
- Library Website
- There are many other
resources and services available through ACC Libraries. Explore the library homepage
(library.austincc.edu) to see everything!
- ACC Centers & Distance Learning Students --
- ACC Library resouces can be sent to these four ACC Centers -- RRH, FBG, SMC, and BSP -- and to online course students.
- Use these online forms to request Library document delivery:
- If you can't access the forms contact LSDL for assistance.
- Students with Classes on an ACC Campus --
- ACC library materials are routinely sent amongst our 7 ACC campus libraries (CYP, EVC, NRG, PIN, RGC, RVS, SAC) upon
request by students. This is part of our regular library service provided at all 7 campus libraries.
Thus, if you need a library item sent from one of our 7 campus libraries to another of these 7 campus libraries -- just ask the Librarian at your ACC Library for assistance.
- Blackboard --
- Students: Are you using Blackboard in any of your classes? We're there too! Library is a TAB in your Blackboard course.
- Note to Instructors: Additional Library services in Blackbard are available. Examples include linking additional e-resources, Library/research instructional materials,
and Librarian participation within discussions.
Contact LSDL for more information.
