Electronic Reserves in ACC Libraries
Electronic Reserves (E-Reserves) is an extension of traditional library course reserves and provides an avenue for students to view and print reserves material electronically through the Library Catalog.
Who may place materials on Electronic
Reserves (E-Reserves)?
ACC faculty members and other ACC employees.
Who can use E-Reserves?
Any currently enrolled ACC student whose barcode has been validated
by the Library can view or print E-Reserve documents.
Is there a charge for viewing or printing?
At the present time, there is no charge for viewing or printing.
For viewing many reserves, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. (This software is free and can be downloaded.)
How can students gain access to the electronic materials?
Electronic Reserves material can be found, viewed, and printed through
the Library
Catalog. Students can search for the material by faculty name or by
course number.
Note: If there is an electronic reserve copy of the item, there will be an additional message which reads -- *ELECTRONIC COPY AVAILABLE* And, after the item is chosen, you are given an option to "View or Print" the item.
