Want to know what checks out and what doesn't ?
Curious about what charges you might incur if you have overdue, lost, or damaged ACC Library materials?

Circulation Policies || Fines || Lost Items

Circulation Policies

Maximum Checkout

No borrower may have more than a total of 10 items checked out at one time. If an item must be returned because the renewals have been exhausted, then the patron must wait at least 24 hours before checking it out again.

Maximum Items Overdue

If a borrower has 5 or more items currently overdue, further checkout will be blocked by the system until the items are returned.

Overdue Notices

As a matter of courtesy, a first overdue notice is automatically generated and sent out when an item is overdue. A final notice is sent approximately four weeks from the due date. Notices are sent to the e-mail address provided by the student or to the surface mail address on record with the College. Students are responsible for maintaining a current address with the Library.
