Viewing/Checkout Media & ITV Tapes
Audiovisual materials can enhance your education by providing alternatives to the printed page. Instructors may ask you to view materials, or you may use audiovisual materials to broaden your understanding of classroom topics..
Each of the Libraries houses a Media Center or media viewing area. These areas have equipment for your use, such videocassette players and TV's, audio cassette duplicators and players, CD and DVD players.
Some media can be checked out and taken out of the library. For information about how to determine what checks out and what must be used in the library, please go to this page about circulating media.
For students enrolled in Instructional Television (ITV) courses offered through ACC's Distance Learning programs, the videotape series for each of these courses can be viewed in the Libraries. Videotape programs of selected ITV courses may be checked out from some Library locations for viewing at home.(See more information.) For additional information about ITV courses, video program check-out and viewing sites, or if you need help operating the equipment or finding materials, a Media Center or Library staff member can provide assistance. You can get further information about Media Services on the web.
Please note: The hours of operation and the specific services offered at each of our locations may differ.
