Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (of materials from Other Libraries)

Found a reference to a book or to an article in a periodical which is not owned by ACC?

The Interlibrary Loan Department can locate books and articles for you which are NOT available at ACC.

Requesting Interlibrary Loan Materials

You may initiate your request to borrow materials through interlibrary loan in two ways:

  • By completing an online form and submitting it through email. Or,
  • By completing a print form and taking it to the Reference Desk at any ACC library. You may complete the print form online;
    however, you must print it out and take it to the Reference Desk on your campus.
    Note that some fields cannot be completed online because they require your initials. Please read the form carefully.
Note: ACC will not request materials that an ACC library owns. You may want to check the Library Catalog for books, or our electronic resources for articles first.

Materials Not Available for Loan

Materials not usually available for interlibrary loan include current periodicals and bound periodical volumes, newspapers, manuscripts, reference works, genealogical and local history materials, audiovisual materials, theses, dissertations, microforms.
