... Find a computer to do word processing?

Public Access Computers in the library are dedicated Internet terminals that allow access to the Library Catalog and other online resources. All library computers are connected to printers which allow patrons to print information from the Internet (Web). You will not be able to print your paper on one of these computers. Be sure to read the guidelines for Printing in the Library.

Although Library computers do not have any word processing capability, there are other resources available to current students, faculty and staff who need access to word processing and other applications:

  • ACC Computer Centers-- the Computer Centers on every campus allow access to computers that have a variety of applications, including word processing and other instructional software.
  • Library Use Laptops-- the libraries have a limited number of laptop computers available for checkout allowing access to a variety of applications, including word processing. Laptops may be checked out for up to 3 hours, and are for library use only.
