Texshare Cards for ACC Students and Faculty

Austin Community College, along with other academic and public libraries in Texas, participates in a state-funded program which was established to allow participants to share resources. More information about TexShare can be found at the TexShare website.

The TexShare libraries have agreed to extend free reciprocal borrowing privileges to each other's library patrons in an effort to provide direct access to materials that are not available at the home library.

  • You must obtain a TexShare borrower card from an ACC Library BEFORE you are able to borrow materials from other institutions.
  • Go to the Circulation Desk or Reference Desk at your campus Library and ask about getting a card.
  • Each library has specific rules and regulations that apply to borrowed materials.
  • Please look at the lending policy of the library you are going to before trying to borrow materials.
