Phrase Searches
Use quotations marks to search for an exact phrase.
You may have already noticed that sometimes the keywords are actually phrases, for example: genetic engineering.
Most—but not all—search engines will let you search for phrases by putting the words in quotation marks. Other search engines do phrase searches by having you click on a choice such as "Exact Phrase."
Phrase searches get much more specific results.
If you search for cost benefit analysis (without quotation marks) you will get everything that mentions any of those words anywhere on the page. Searching for "cost benefit analysis" (with quotation marks) will make sure the whole phrase appears intact in the results.
