Citing your sources is a formal method for giving credit to the originator(s) of words and ideas you use in your research. You will be using the CSE (Council of Science Editors) citation style, Citation-Sequence (CS) system for this report.

You must cite your sources.

Give credit where credit is due.
Most of the information you will need to cite the article will be on your printout. Look for the How to cite section at the end of AccessScience articles, then follow the example on your Lab Notes worksheet to complete the citation.

Use your CSE handout or go to the CSE citation page online to find examples of how to cite other types of resources.
