Library Resources

New Books!

Sometimes the Internet is not the best or fastest resource to use to get information. There are many excellent marketing encyclopedias and dictionaries in the reference areas of campus libraries as well as books that can be borrowed from the library. There are also e-books that can be read online. Look for the ebooksymbol.

To search for books and videos on marketing, go to the library catalog. You can search by call number (HF), to browse the collection online.

Marketing call numbers:

HF5410-5417.5 Marketing. Distribution of products HF5437-5444 Purchasing. Selling. Sales personnel. Sales executives
HF5428-5429.6 Retail trade HF5460-5469.5 Department stores. Mail order business. Supermarkets. Convenience stores

You can also search by keywords and phrases, such as advertising, demographics, demography, electronic commerce, fashion, financial management, marketing, market research, merchandising, statistics, trends, etc. You can use such terms to search periodical indexes for magazine and journal articles or to search the Internet.

Remember that you can ask a reference librarian to assist you with your research, in person in the library, by telephone, or online.
