Library Resources

New Books! | New Films! | eBooks!

Sometimes the Internet is not the best or fastest resource to use to get information. There are many excellent RTF encyclopedias and dictionaries in the reference areas of campus libraries as well as books that can be borrowed from the library. There are also e-books that can be read online. Look for the ebooksymbol.

To search for books and videos on RTF, go to the library catalog. You can search by call number to browse the collection online.

RTF call numbers:

HE 8689-8700

Broadcasting & Telecomm
in general

TK 6550 Radio
PN 1994 Film (Motion Pictures) TK 6630 Television

You can also search by keywords and phrases, such as a director's name, a specific genre, a theme, a language, a country, etc. You can use such terms to search periodical indexes for magazine and journal articles or to search the Internet.

Remember that you can ask a reference librarian to assist you with your research, in person in the library, by telephone, or online.

Handout for finding film resources.
